Kalpa Bhadra Buddhist Centre, 24 Rugby St, Merivale, Christchurch

About the Half Day Course

Choosing to be grateful is choosing to be happy! We are often so focused on what we don’t have, we forget to appreciate and feel grateful for what we already have. Discover for yourself the positive energy and joy that comes from choosing gratitude.

Suitable for beginners. Everybody is welcome.

The Teacher

Kelsang Luma is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kalpa Bhadra Buddhist Centre in Christchurch and is Geshe-las representative in the South Island. She has been ordained under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years and has dedicated her life to studying and practicing his instructions and helping people solve their problems through Buddha’s timeless instructions.

Luma gives clear and practical teachings, sharing her deep understanding of the Buddhist path. Through her teachings and example she shows us how we can easily integrate Buddha’s wisdom into our modern lives.
