Each class consists of a guided meditation and a talk based on Buddhist wisdom.
Classes are suitable for everyone. Join in any week, booking is not required.
Class fee: $14 ($12 unwaged). Members free. We do not have eftpos so can accept either cash or bank transfer.

Class Topics
A Buddhist Approach to Mental Health – begins week 30 September (4 weeks)
Generally we feel our physical health is the most important and we neglect our mental health. However, our health and happiness depend upon our mental health. In this course learn Buddhist techniques to deal with common mental illnesses.
Finding a Meaningful Life – begins week 28 October (4 weeks)
Buddhas answers to lifes big questions. Buddha’s teachings have a tremendous amount of wisdom and clarity to offer on the big topics of our existence. In this course, learn to view life through a more spiritual lens and explore the Buddhist perspective on questions such as ‘What is the meaning of life?’, ‘What happens when we die?’, ‘Why do bad things happen to good people?’ and more.
Living Lightly – begins week 25 November (3 weeks)
End the year with a feeling of lightness and joy.
What to expect at a class
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from them.
Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk. The classes run for 75 minutes.
Anyone can practice meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.
These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
