About the Day Course
Join internationally-renowned teacher and Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Rabten for a transformative course on confronting your anxiety.
In our modern society many people suffer from feelings of anxiety, worry and fear or are simply overwhelmed by the stress and demands of everyday life. On this day course Gen Rabten will explain how meditation, together with the practical application of Buddha’s instructions, will help us to reduce and eventually conquer these painful emotions.
Suitable for beginners. Everybody is welcome.
The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Rabten has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for 30 years and is the National Spiritual Director for Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia. He is presently the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia. Gen Rabten is known internationally for his powerful teachings, deep faith in Buddha’s instructions, and the sincerity of his practice which inspire many people to embark on a meaningful and rich spiritual life.

What to expect at a class
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from them.
There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.
These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
