About the Half Day Course

Buddha’s Tantric teachings are Buddha’s highest and most profound teachings. They are known as ‘the quick path to enlightenment.’ But what is Tantra?  And how will this practice improve our own life as well as empower our spiritual training?

In this half-day course, Gen Luma will teach the essential points of this immensely joyful, insightful, and creative approach to life. She will also show us how we can begin to apply this wisdom to our own life, right now.

The Teacher

Kelsang Luma is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kalpa Bhadra Buddhist Centre in Christchurch and is Geshe-las representative in the South Island. She has been ordained under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years and has dedicated her life to studying and practicing his instructions and helping people solve their problems through Buddha’s timeless instructions.

Luma gives clear and practical teachings, sharing her deep understanding of the Buddhist path. Through her teachings and example she shows us how we can easily integrate Buddha’s wisdom into our modern lives.
