Venue: St Martins Community Centre, 122 Wilsons Road, St Martins (opposite New World Supermarket).
Each class consists of a guided meditation and a talk based on Buddhist wisdom.
Classes are suitable for everyone. Join in any week, booking is not required.
Class fee: $14 ($12 unwaged). Members free. We accept payments via EFTPOS (debit cards), credit cards, and cash.

Living from Love – begins week 17 August (2 weeks)
Living from love means approaching life with an open heart, choosing kindness, compassion, gratitude and empathy.
Buddhist Stories: Inspiration for Daily Life – begins week 31 August (6 weeks)
Buddhist stories from centuries past offer profound inspiration for daily life. Gain insights into triumphing over adversity, seizing the day, and living a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Find your Happy Place – begins week 12 October (4 weeks)
Learn methods to discover the happy place within yourself. Then you can be confident to call on this mental sanctuary anytime and anywhere.
Living Lightly – begins week 16 November (4 weeks)
Living lightly offers simple meditations and clear insights you can apply immediately in daily life.
What to expect at a class
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, or to benefit from them.
Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk. The classes run for 75 minutes.
Anyone can practice meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.
These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
