About the Public Talk & Meditation

When we look at the world around us we might sometimes feel overwhelmed or discouraged. It can seem almost impossible to be happy — both with the difficulties we face in our everyday lives and the troubles in the world at large. How can we feel positive and live positively in such a troubled world?

At this event, internationally-renowned teacher and Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Dornying will teach how to turn negativity into a powerful force for empowering our mind. Instead of feeling stuck and helpless, we can use these challenges to develop peaceful, positive states of mind such as love, compassion and wisdom. This not only makes us emotionally strong and joyful, but also enables us to bring happiness to those around us.

Everyone is welcome.
