About the Half Day Course
Whether it’s simply a recent falling out with a friend or some unhappy time from our distant past, it can be hard to fully let go of the often unhelpful thoughts, feelings and emotions we carry with respect to these events.
We may blame situations, others or ourselves and get stuck in feelings of hurt, anger, resentment or guilt, for days, or even years. Not only can this prevent us from fully enjoying our lives and relationships in the here and now, it can also get in the way of us moving forward towards the life we want.
In this meditation course we will explore Buddha’s timeless wisdom to let go of the emotional burden of the past, and move forward to the genuinely peaceful, happy, and fulfilling future we want.
Suitable for beginners. Everybody is welcome.
The Teacher
Kelsang Luma is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kalpa Bhadra Buddhist Centre in Christchurch and is Geshe-las representative in the South Island. She has been ordained under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years and has dedicated her life to studying and practicing his instructions and helping people solve their problems through Buddha’s timeless instructions.
