University weekly drop-in class – Wednesdays 5.15 – 6.45pm
New Venue: University of Canterbury – Sociology 456 (sociology block is at the end of Arts Road just before it turns into Forestry Road). Go down the corridor to the left as you reach the top of the stairs and the room is set back about half way down the corridor on the left. Or if you come up by the lift turn right and right again, then straight ahead (stairs on your left) and the room is about half way down the corridor set back on the left.
These classes present practical meditations that help us solve the problems of daily life and find a deep inner peace and contentment that remains with us out of meditation. Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk. The classes run for 90 minutes.
Anyone can practice meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.
Come along to any session, suitable for everyone.
Cost: gold coin donation.
Classes are held weekly during term times.
