Amitayus Retreat – unguided

Saturday 9th – Sunday 10th February

Amitayus Retreat 2019

Amitayus Retreat – unguided

On this retreat we have the opportunity to increase our lifespan, merit and wisdom, through the special meditation practice of Buddha Amitayus.

We all would like a long and healthy life but we need wisdom to see how to use our life in the most meaningful way. We also need merit, or good fortune, to give our mind the strength to support our spiritual development. We can develop these qualities by relying upon Amitayus, the Buddha of long life, merit and wisdom. We can also use this practice to help remove obstacles endangering the lives of others, especially our close friends and family.

No meditation experience necessary. Everyone is welcome at this special event.  Drop into any session.

Retreat details

There are three sessions per day. Each session lasts for one and a quarter hours and consists of chanted prayers in English and silent mantra recitation. You are welcome to drop in for any or all of the retreat sessions.
